Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change the unit from rarenheit to centigrade on the climate control? Also does anyone know a good website to get parts for XG30?
Thank you rezamohebi@aol.com

Anyone has electronical user manual in english?
and few questions about some electrical comforts.
1)how does the AUTO function work on seats?
2)what is the little sensor in front of the inner mirror?
3 is there an automatic hi-lo beam feature?
4)isit normal that you can take the ignition key out in D or R position?

Sorry can't help with the seats but I think the little sensor on the mirror is to darken the mirror so that you are not dazzled by headlights of cars behind. There probably is a high-low function for the headlights (but not on my car - it lacks such luxuries) and, as far as I know, the ignition key should be removable in any gear, although not recommended if the car is moving - the steering lock turns your car into a deadly weapon.

My car starts and sometimes cutting of sometimes it could work 10 min sometimes an hour or even 10 seconds it like lottery and then cutting of , and then it could start again or sometimes just turning over (like lottery).
as well if is turning over and can not start then no spark. But if the car starts: i disconnected spark-plug, and it sparking without any contact(spark just coming out from the spark plug)
Please help me !

Hello, I'm not an expert on XG30 mechanics but it could be that the flywheel sensor needs cleaning - this is a common cause of cutting out on other cars, especially old volvos! I would be interested to know how you sort it. Perhaps a message on one of the Hyundai forums would give some more clues.

I’ve also had similar problems to this on another car a few years ago, it was a faulty electronic control unit

Glad you've found it. The price sounds pretty fair really. Look on the bright side - the XG30 is a way of life!

i've had my xg 30 since last nov and absolutely love it so much car for so little and apart from a new filter and plug leads (which nearly caused a heart attack not knowing if it needed 3 coils aswell at &165 each) it"s been trouble free, and driving it is a pleasure not a chore.i've wanted a yank car since childhood and this is damn near to it on style but with european reliability.lets just hope i've not tempted fate by writing this message.

Hello, I finally became an XG30 owner yesterday after being attracted to this car by its resemblance (at least in my mind) to the old Rover P5B, another of my loves. It will take me a while to take in all the knobs and buttons but I hope to have a service done by a garage in next couple of weeks. I was wondering if the cambelt will need changing - the car is 8 years old but has only done about 40k miles.

Hi
Getting an xg30 tomorrow.
A bit worried about fuel costs. How much does the gas conversion cost?

Feeling a bit downcast - economics are forcing me to sell my black Feb'02 XG30. It's got 96000 on the clock (of which I've done over 60000)and has had a few niggles in the past, including a complete failure on the M4 which turned out to be a shot alternator. It's cost me thousands to run it, especially fuel-wise and I can't afford to run it any more, but I love it and I'll be gutted to see it go. Tried to PX it for the new cheap runabout and they offered me peanuts for it, saying it was unsaleable. Can't see it leave me that way, so I'll try to get as much for it privately as possible.
